Atlanta-based singer, songwriter and recording artist, Crystal Carr, blossoms as a product of two rich musical worlds. From the deep ties to gospel music on her mother's side to the bright, faith-based contemporary Christian music that her father embraced, she started honing her writing skills with poetry, being published at the prodigious age of 8 years old.
Crystal has a unique versatility across many genres. She is known to be a vocal chameleon. Penning colorful lyrics in Pop and R&B have allowed her to spend the past several years building a massive catalog of music from collaborations with musical hard-hitting producers Blac Elvis, Tricky Stewart, Drumma Boy, Troy Taylor, Bangladesh, and Nash B, just to name a few. She draws lyrical influence from the likes of James Fauntleroy, Sia, Taylor Parks, Priscilla Renea, Linda Perry, Diane Warren, Rod Temperton, and Lionel Richie.
With multiple song placements on FOX Network’s hit TV show STAR, TNT Drama’s TV show Claws, Netflix movie Love Trap, Radio Disney artist Skylar Stecker, Nickelodeon star K-Jay, New Orleans culture sensation Shae Williams, Alvester Martin and many more, she has solidified her place with up and coming projects and long-established artists.
